Storms to impact Friday night football for some – Chris

We’re enjoying another quiet evening across Minnesota, with partly cloudy skies, mild temperatures, and comfortable humidity. Tonight stays calm, with lows falling into the upper 50s.

Friday will be very warm, with highs in the mid-80s. Most of the day looks dry, but storms are expected to develop late in the day and evening, mainly north of the Twin Cities metro.

The greatest storm window looks to be from about 7 PM to midnight Friday night. The highest risk appears to be from around St. Cloud toward Duluth, but north metro communities should still watch the forecast closely.

A few storms could become strong to severe, with all severe hazards possible. That means Friday night football games, especially north of the metro, may have weather delays or interruptions.
