A new grocery store, apartment complex, and park are some of the new additions to downtown's landscape.
SAINT PAUL, Minn. — New developments in downtown St. Paul are ushering the city into a new era.
The first major change was the grand opening of downtown’s new grocery store. Aldi moved into the old Lunds & Byerlys at the corner of 10th and Robert Streets. Downtown has been without a grocery store for about a year and a half.
“Having Aldi downtown is going to improve the lives of people who live and work downtown and it’s also going to make this a better place to invest,” said Joe Spencer with the St. Paul Downtown Alliance.
