CAVE CREEK, Ariz. — Kyrsten Sinema's ex-bodyguard was arrested on suspicion of damaging her Cave Creek, Arizona, home and property when she was out of town, according to court paperwork.
Matthew Ammel worked as Sinema's bodyguard, and the two were allegedly romantically involved. Court paperwork refers to Ammel as Sinema's "former boyfriend."
Sinema was formerly an Arizona senator and served in politics from 2005 until 2025.
