After four matches in six days against high-level competition away from home, the University of Minnesota volleyball team is ready for a familiar sight: Maturi Pavilion.
The Gophers return home this weekend for the first time this season, hosting St. Thomas and Miami (Fla.) after navigating a demanding opening stretch that coach Keegan Cook believes revealed plenty about his team.
“We got to see ourselves under duress match after match after match,” Cook said. “I think we’ll be better for it.”
KSTP Sports spoke on Tuesday with Cook, along with players Kelly Kinney and McKenna Wucherer. The Gophers host the Hurricanes on Friday.
