Want a free ticket to the Minnesota State Fair? All you have to do is volunteer.

The Great Minnesota Get-Together is right around the corner — the Minnesota State Fair starts next Thursday.

There is a way you can get into the fair for free if you’re willing to lend a helping hand.

There are several volunteer opportunities at the fair, and no experience is required. Most shifts are two to three hours, and you can sign up solo or with a group.

If you volunteer, you get a free admission ticket.

“It’s a lot of fun,” Beth Schuldt with Kemps Little Farm Hands said. “You leave feeling good. There’s so many great people you meet.”
