Molly says enjoy the sunshine and dry conditions while they last

High pressure parked over the Great Lakes region will reinforce ample sunshine and usher in dry air, keeping the rain out of the forecast on this Tuesday. Afternoon highs will climb into the upper 60’s, close to normal for this time of the year. Our dry pattern changes with our next WeatherMaker by tomorrow with rain moving in by the afternoon. The heaviest of rain will stay west and north of the metro as organized, widespread showers struggle to hold together as they work their way into drier air. We dry out and hang onto mostly cloudy skies Friday and by Sunday we warm back into the 70’s.
