Mike Lindell funds Minnesota GOP primary recount after loss

Mike Lindell announced Wednesday he will pay for a statewide hand recount and audit of Minnesota’s Republican primary ballots for governor.

Lindell said the review will cover every paper ballot cast in the Aug. 11 primary at no cost to Minnesota taxpayers. He said he is seeking the recount after what he described as “irregularities” in election reporting data.

“One of the few good election laws Minnesota does have is that as a candidate, I have the right to completely audit and hand count every ballot in the state, and I am going to exercise that right to full extent of the law,” Lindell said.
