Man wanted in Minnesota for not registering as predatory offender arrested in Mexico

A man wanted in Minnesota for not registering as a predatory offender has reportedly been located in Mexico and is now awaiting extradition.

According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, the U.S. Marshals Service and Mexican authorities took Matias Polster into custody in the Celaya, Mexico area.

Polster has been wanted in Stearns County for not registering as a predatory offender, according to the sheriff’s office.

A Stearns County deputy attached to the North Star Fugitive Task Force reportedly tracked Polster to the Celaya area, leading to the arrest. Polster is being held pending the legal extradition procedures that will take him back to Minnesota.
