We’re heading into a really nice late-August weekend across Minnesota. Tonight stays partly cloudy and seasonable, with lows falling into the mid-60s.
Saturday looks like the pick day of the weekend, with mostly sunny skies, comfortable air, and highs near 80 degrees. Sunday stays pleasant as well, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s.
Our next weather maker arrives Monday night, when a few showers may develop. Rain chances are around 40%, so this does not look like a widespread soaking rain, but it is the next system we’ll be watching.
Tuesday and Wednesday stay seasonably warm, with highs in the mid-80s and a slight shower chance Tuesday.
Looking ahead to the start of the Minnesota State Fair, Thursday looks great for Day 1 with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s. Friday also looks seasonably warm, though a chance of thunderstorms returns Friday...
