BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Two people were arrested in a multi-agency human trafficking operation late last month, officials announced Thursday.

Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges was joined by Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna Witt and Dakota County Sheriff Joe Leko for a press conference Thursday afternoon to discuss the operation, which took place Aug. 26 and Aug. 27 at an apartment building in Bloomington.

The two people arrested are accused of promoting prostitution, officials said.
