Vikings sign interior offensive lineman ahead of joint practice with Ravens

EAGAN, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings signed interior offensive lineman Joshua Gray and terminated defensive lineman Eric Johnson II's contract Wednesday ahead of the team's joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens.

Gray, 26, is a 6-feet 5-inches, 299-pound versatile lineman who played both tackle and guard while at Oregon State. After going undrafted last year, he spent time on Atlanta's practice squad before being elevated to the active roster in Week 10. He was waived by the Falcons in July and signed with the Carolina Panthers, where he played 39% of the offensive snaps in a preseason game against the Buffalo Bills before being waived on Monday.
