One of many television ads attacking Republican Michele Tafoya tries to make the case she’s “all in” when it comes to supporting a wide array of policies of President Donald Trump.
There is a kernel of truth in each of the many claims made in a 30-second ad from the Peggy Flanagan campaign, but most are misleading.
The misleading nature of the ad begins immediately as the narrator states Tafoya is “a sideline reporter who’s become a Trump cheerleader,” referring to her days as an NFL sideline reporter. The ad shows an image of Tafoya next to an image of Trump while superimposing a fake Trump button on her lapel.
