Minnesota Timberwolves Head Coach Chris Finch is no stranger to changing circumstances. In fact, during his five-and-a-half year tenure, Finch has thrived on the challenge of it with uncommonly adept adaptations.

After a split first season where he won more than twice as many games as his predecessor, Ryan Saunders, in the first half, Finch has transformed the Wolves into a fixture of the playoffs, including two years where Minnesota went to the Western Conference Finals. Now, entering his fifth preseason in tandem with president of basketball operations Tim Connelly, Finch finds himself in a familiar position. Connelly has significantly altered the roster with a series of major trades. It is up to Finch to synergize the disparate parts and fashion yet another distinctly successful identity.
