A first-of-its-kind program is bringing high school students in Minnesota closer to a career in the skilled trade industry.
Dunwoody College of Technology launched a program called Dunwoody Immersive, and they believe it’s the solution to an ongoing workforce shortage problem.
This fall, the program is coming to six Minnesota school districts and charter schools including Edina Virtual Pathways, Eden Prairie Schools, Wayzata Public Schools, White Bear Lake School District, Avalon School, and Hermantown Community Schools.
These kids are not only getting some college credit — but a chance to think about what they want to do for a living.
