Minnesota fall colors 2026: Peak dates, best spots, DNR forecast

Minnesota’s fall color season is starting, with peak colors expected across the state in the coming weeks.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources released its 2026 fall color forecast Thursday and launched an updated Fall Color Finder. The tool lets Minnesotans track changing conditions across the state through the end of October.
