Minnesota Coaching Icon Set to Reach 600 Games

For all 57 years Becker High School has fielded a football team, Dwight Lundeen has been the one leading the charge on the sidelines. Alec Ausmus caught up with the legendary coach for this season’s emotional first day of practice, a moment that felt a little different than the 56 that came before. This fall, Lundeen will make history as the first coach in Minnesota to lead a 600th high school football game.
