The Lake Harriet Bandshell is hosting an evening of music and remembrance to honor the people who died 25 years ago on 9/11.
The free annual event has welcomed thousands of community members, veterans, service personnel and families for over two decades.
Friday’s schedule kicks off with a fireman’s walk at 4 p.m. before the memorial concert begins at 7:15 p.m. with performances from the 204th Army Band and the Twin Cities Trumpet Ensemble.
Full schedule
- 4:00 PM: Fireman’s walk
- 6:30 PM: Pre-concert music
- 7:00 PM: Opening flag ceremony
- 7:15 PM: Memorial concert
Complimentary American flags will be handed out to kids as they participate in a parade through the aisles.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
