Drivers on I-94 eastbound should expect delays near Rogers until noon on Friday after a crash involving a semi scattered debris on the roadway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Investigators say that the semi driver swerved to avoid hitting another car and crashed into a cable barrier near the 42nd Street on ramp, causing part of the semi’s load to spill onto the road.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) says that the left lane of I-94 eastbound between Exit 205 and MN 101 will be closed until noon.

The semi driver was not injured and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
