Hopkins vigil to honor mom, daughter killed at in-home daycare

The Hopkins community is coming together on Monday night to remember the mother and daughter who were killed last week at an in-home daycare.

A vigil will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Downtown Park in Hopkins to honor 41-year-old Kristen Brown and her 7-year-old daughter Evie.

Police say 41-year-old Nathan Brown, Kristen Brown’s husband and Evie’s father, killed them last Wednesday before taking his own life.
