A Lakeville man tied to the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme is set to receive more prison time on Tuesday after he pled guilty to tampering with a witness during his wire fraud trial that involved more than $5 million.
Abdinasir Abshir, 33, is now the 37th defendant to plead guilty in the case involving co-defendants Aimee Bock and Salim Said who have since pled guilty in the $250 million fraud scheme.
According to court records, Abshir registered Federal Child Nutrition Program sites at Stigma-Free Mankato and J’s Sambusa under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future.
