MINNEAPOLIS — Plans to convert the former Star Tribune printing plant into a data center in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis have been scrapped, multiple sources tell KARE 11.
Virginia-based Legacy Investing had initially agreed to convert the 13-acre site and 571,000-square-foot facility into a data center and mixed-use development, potentially including housing and retail. However, city officials told the North Loop Neighborhood Association this week that the company had withdrawn its application.
