Levine put acting aside for more than three decades before retiring early as a librarian and picking it up as a hobby.
WASHINGTON — Bunny Levine, a former school librarian who returned to acting in her 50s and went on to appear in more than 100 movies and television projects, has died. She was 97.
Levine's representatives confirmed her death to multiple outlets on Sunday, saying she died in her sleep.
“She was a great and fearless actress and such a nice lady,” Michael Eisenstadt, one of her reps, told USA Today. “She will be missed.”
