Brooklyn Center police raiding 2 hotels in human trafficking operation

Police are conducting a raid at two hotels in Brooklyn Center for suspected human trafficking, narcotics distribution, firearms offenses and other criminal activity.

People are being asked to avoid the Travelodge and Super 8 hotels on James Circle as the operation continues on Wednesday morning.

Brooklyn Center police say drivers should follow any temporary traffic restrictions or directions from law enforcement.

Investigators did not say who was involved but they did say that more information about the operation will be released later on Wednesday.
