Last week on Friday, a man’s body was found in the Mississippi River near Inver Grove Heights.

Now, the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to learn more about Timothy Bryan Standish Jr.

A press release says the 40-year-old lived in the Stevens Square neighborhood in Minneapolis.

Detectives are asking anyone who knew him to share any information with investigators, saying even the smallest detail could be important.

At this time, it’s unclear how Standish Jr. died. The sheriff’s office says that “due to the sensitive nature of the investigation and out of respect for Timothy and his loved ones, additional details about the circumstances of the death are not being released at this time.
