DON’T STAY GOOD LUCK (Netflix)

Sometimes all you need after a long day is a good family film that tugs at the heartstrings. I was touched and moved by the new Netflix movie Don’t Say Good Luck. The title “Don’t Say Good Luck” is taken from an old theater superstition which lead to the phrase “break a leg.” Sunny Sandler is paving the way and showing a different side of the Sandler family than her famous father, Adam. In Don’t Say Good Luck she plays, Sophie, who is auditioning for the high school production of Waitress. Melanie Lynskey and Max Greenfield play her parents, and they run a local family-owned deli.
